Azure Watersports, based in Aberdeen, is pleased to offer Wingsurf and Wingfoil lessons in Scotland; we teach in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. Wingsurfing and Wingfoiling are the new watersports taking the world by storm. The sport is a cross between kitesurfing and windsurfing.
Learn to WingSUP or Wingfoil in Scotland With Us
We offer Wingfoil Lessons in Scotland and teach in various spots in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire in the North East of Scotland and cater for beginners through to more experienced riders.
Choose from the following lessons:

- Wingsurf taster lesson (equipment overview, self rescue, sailing across the wind, standing up, basic turns)
- wingsurf improver lesson (advanced self rescue, steering, sailing up wind, more advanced turns)
- introduction to wingfoiling (equipment overview, foil safety, first flights on the foil, turns)
- wingfoiling (sustaining flights on the foil, steering, foiling gybes)
- Wingfoil Zero to Hero (a block of lessons to cover you from your first time wingsurfing all the way through to wing foiling, including supervised equipment rental so you can practice in between lessons)
Worth Noting
Lessons are available 1-2-1 or group. Foiling lessons require an ability assessment or more typically students to have completed wingsurf improver lesson beforehand.
Lessons take place in Peterhead Marina or Peterhead Harbour Aberdeenshire. Wingfoil lessons are only run on a 1-2-1 basis and are taught from a boat to ensure we are on hand to offer coaching when you need it.

Scotland’s First Dedicated Wingfoil School
We were the first dedicated wingfoil school in Scotland. Fully insured and qualified through the RYA, BKSA and Waterskills Academy. We have been teaching in 2021 and have access to some of the best sheltered locations in the North East of Scotland to ensure you learn the sport safety and easily. Unlike some other schools, we use of a rescue boat during our the wingfoil lessons to ensure we are right next to you on the water to give you advice and coaching as you learn to fly.
